IpConfig/DHCP Registry Key
NAME
IpConfig/DHCP
DEFAULT
enabled
DESCRIPTION
When enabled the JNIOR will lease an IP address from a DHCP server if
available on the network. This insures that the JNIOR is compatible
with the network.
NOTES
ipconfig -d
Enables DHCP using the IPCONFIG command. Sets this key to enabled.
ipconfig -r
Disables DHCP and releases any leased IP address. Sets this key to
disabled.
Hint: If you plan to set a fixed IP address and your network supports DHCP,
you can enable DHCP briefly to configure your JNIOR properly for the network.
Subsequently you can disable DHCP and apply the fixed IP address as might be
appropriate. All of the other parameters will then be properly set.
